Professional handlers condition, train and work with their dogs or your dogs daily.

Preparing Yourself for the Ring

Observe how the judge uses the Ring before you walk into the ring.

Observe the gaiting patterns being used in the ring.

Determine what the judge is looking for in breed type and handler presentation.

Use every second that you are in the ring to your advantage.

It is better to ask the judge to repeat instructions, rather than to guess.

Showing Your Dog

Use the correct equipment to show your dog.

Put a picture in your mind of your perfect dog and then show that dog to the judge.

Be relaxed and proud of your dog.
